Truly authentic taqueria that feels like a mom and pop shop. The environment is down to earth and brings you in to the culture - the TVs there are all playing spanish channels ranging from funny game shows to sports or news. Bright colored paper ornaments hang from the ceiling and make you want to fiestaaa and eat !! Also prices for tacos are super cheap about $2 each !!
Super low key place. Just walk in and seat yourself and the waiter will come by with the menu! They also have a drive thru and a private parking lot.
I highly recommend their al pastor tacos!!! As of now they are probably the best in Austin. Very juicy, tender, and flavorful with some spice. This is the one I always come back to.
I've also had their breakfast tacos, migas, and huevos rancheros platter. I thought it filled the appetite but it wasn't amazing or anything.
But nevertheless I'll always be back for more al pastor~
Looking forward to try the rest of their tacos!! I've heard good things about their barbacoa as well. -

$2.50 for delicious tacos!!! Barbacoa, al pastor, lingua, asada, guisada, muchos gracias! Homemade corn or flour tortillas are piled to the brim with meat +/- onions, cilantro, lime. They are so good for the price and the blessing of eating them in an air conditioned building.
Their Fajitas For One ($13) should be renamed Fajitas For Two and come sizzling on a hot plate. The pozole ($8) is also excellent- the meat is incredibly tender and buttery, perfect with a tostada!
They have happy hour from 5-7pm, Mon-Fri. $2 beers, $2.50 margaritasn -

The food here was decent and competitively priced. Stopped by for a quick bite to eat and wasn't disappointed. Plenty of options to choose from.

I was visiting from Seattle, which has terrible Mexican food, and was looking for something close to Highland area. This was a good choice. The fajitas a la Mexicana were good as were the rice and beans. Would go back!
